it's me. i'm the fool.
hey, my name is dorian. i picked it myself. no, not specifically because of the picture of dorian gray, but yes that was an influencing factor. thank you for asking.
i'm a trans artist with far too many hobbies (that's the ADHD brain for you), and i've set this shop up because one of those hobbies sparked a lot of people's interest when i started wearing it. i decided on a made-to-order model because i don't really have the mental capacity to do this all the time or to put the necessary effort into gaining traction for this business online (god knows social media algorithms are visciously unforgiving for artists), so doing one-off items feels like a much more sustainable move. also, i feel like it can make the process more personal for you and more interesting for me.
i'm a big fan of those silly little internet aesthetics like cottagecore or dark academia, of sustainable fashion, of immersive experiences and playing dress-up, and i think we should all be playing more dress-up in our day to day lives. what is the point of wearing boring clothes when you could instead be wearing something fun? something cute? something a little whimsical? something that makes you happy?
